The manufacturing and Industry sector are known as the secondary sector, where the natural products are changed into several useful forms through manufacturing for example: making Flour from Wheat, making Ghee from Milk, making Sugar from Sugarcane, making Cement from Limestone and then construction of a house. All the industries of this type are kept in secondary sector. The secondary sector includes secondary processing of raw materials, food manufacturing, textile manufacturing, Construction Work, Fabrication Work, Assembling Work, Distillation Work and Filtration/Purification Work etc. The secondary sector transforms natural resources, raw materials collected from nature, into artificial resources, human-created objects for use by people. In other words, we can say the manufacturing sector is also called the secondary sector where the different types of manufacturing industries are involved in that like- Construction Work, Fabrication Work, Assembling Work, Distillation Work, Filtration/Purification Work Etc. *Hindi* विनिर्माण और उद्योग क्षेत्र को द्वितीयक क्षेत्र के रूप में जाना जाता है, जहां प्राकृतिक उत्पादों को विनिर्माण के माध्यम से कई उपयोगी रूपों में परिवर्तित किया जाता है, उदाहरण के लिए: गेहूं से आटा बनाना, दूध से घी बनाना, गन्ने से चीनी बनाना, चूना पत्थर से सीमेंट बनाना और फिर निर्माण करना एक घर। इस प्रकार के सभी उद्योगों को द्वितीयक क्षेत्र में रखा जाता है। द्वितीयक क्षेत्र में कच्चे माल का द्वितीयक प्रसंस्करण, खाद्य निर्माण, कपड़ा निर्माण, निर्माण कार्य, निर्माण कार्य, संयोजन कार्य, आसवन कार्य और निस्पंदन/शुद्धिकरण कार्य आदि शामिल हैं। द्वितीयक क्षेत्र प्राकृतिक संसाधनों, प्रकृति से एकत्रित कच्चे माल को कृत्रिम संसाधनों, लोगों द्वारा उपयोग के लिए मानव-निर्मित वस्तुओं में परिवर्तित करता है। दूसरे शब्दों में, हम कह सकते हैं कि मैन्युफैक्चरिंग सेक्टर को सेकेंडरी सेक्टर भी कहा जाता है जहां विभिन्न प्रकार के मैन्युफैक्चरिंग उद्योग शामिल होते हैं जैसे- निर्माण कार्य, फैब्रिकेशन वर्क, असेंबलिंग वर्क, डिस्टिलेशन वर्क, फिल्ट्रेशन/शुद्धिकरण कार्य आदि।
